Meggs is on the move
The Meggs Billy Cart Derby has a new date - Sunday 16th August 2009 and a NEW VENUE - Georgiana Terrace, Gosford, transforms into a race track with billy carts in all shapes and sizes! Registrations are now being accepted for next years billy cart derby, so download the registration form and join the fun of the race.
The event, in its third year, aims to raises funds for United Way Central Coast Community Chest, a local organisation raising funds for over 90 Central Coast charities.
Designed as a fun, old fashioned family day out, The Meggs Billy Cart Derby will feature all day entertainment, rides, face painting and fairy floss for the kids. There will be reptile displays and market stalls throughout the day.
You can enter a simple homemade billy cart or create an environmentally friendly machine in our new category; Eco Friendly.

It’s Back!!
The objective of the event is to raise funds for the United Way Central Coast Community Chest and provide a day of activities and fun for the community.
James Kemsley the creator of Ginger Meggs, has donated a hand drawn caricature of the event, which will be given away to the winner of our corporate category.
With the valued support from Gosford Council, Gosford Chamber of Commerce, businesses, media and community groups, this year promises to be an even bigger success!
